Carl is a serial entrepreneur and former Quantity Surveyor who has a business career spanning 40 years. During this time, he has founded, built, and sold businesses for over £50 million. He currently chairs several boards including his family property development and investment company, a car parking business, an electrical contracting business and now STAT Holdings.

Carl has a proven track record and brings leadership, drive, and a focused can-do attitude to the table. He has a no-nonsense approach and a preference to get things done without all the faff. His ability to spot, nurture and empower talent is first rate and which usually leads to backing them with his own money and enabled him to disrupt sector markets and make a real difference, creating meaningful stakeholder value for those involved.

Favouring margin over turnover, his commercial nous and experience in the built environment industries has covered extensive spells in the Middle East and Germany as well as the UK—he even likes to speak Arabic given the chance and takes pleasure in mentoring young aspiring entrepreneurs to help them achieve their goals.
