John is a pharmacist by 1st degree, holds an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
He spent the early part of his career in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries but subsequently broadened his experience to encompass senior management positions in products manufacturing and sales, primarily around the construction industry in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Highlights include growing sales of a range of construction products by >5% CAGR over a 10 year period, generating a ten-fold increase in turnover for a large Middle Eastern construction business and delivered 20% EBITDA for over a decade to a UK based construction supplier.
Whilst he has ran highly successful multi-million pound divisions for multi-national companies, since 2018 he has worked as a consultant to SME companies, specialising in integration, growth and organisational change. He is a highly experienced management professional with an ability to identify and then, importantly, solve challenges to a business, rapidly improving its profitability.
John is married with 2 children and lives in Sussex. His passion for sailing takes him away with family along the South Coast to The Channel Islands and France. He is a keen sportsman keeping fit by running and cycling and an avid rugby fan.
